Welcome to Merritime Nursery
Merrtime Nursery is somewhere where you can be assured that your child is welcomed
and encouraged to blossom throughout their time here.
You will find our Nursery welcoming and homely, we do everything we can to make
sure that all of the babies and children in our care are well looked after and feel
at ease.
Based in Fort Rowner within H.M.S Sultan in Gosport, Hampshire we have a very historical
and natural environment around us, which the children are encouraged to enjoy.
Playtime!
We believe that children learn the best through play and having fun, this is reflected
in the curriculum that we offer.
Play allows the opportunity to interact with others and also helps to encourage
social skills, communication, confidence and so much more. It also forms a basis
for children to express their opinions, ideas, make decisions and develop independence.
Opening Times
Monday – Friday 7.30 – 18.00
We are open all year round except Bank Holidays and between Christmas & New
Year.
Session Times
Full Day Session
Morning session 07:30—13:00
Afternoon Session 13:15—18:00
Please talk to Nursery Managers to discuss to alternative times. E.g. Starting at 08:00, 09:00, 10:00 11:00
Finishing at 14:00, 15:00,16:00,17:00
Morning Session
Children are welcome from 07.30 and must be collected by 13.00
Afternoon Session
Children are welcome from 13.15 and must be collected by 18.00
Fees
A deposit of £25 will be required to secure a child’s place; this will be refunded
on your first months bill. All fees are calculated monthly in advance for the exact
number of sessions in that month. Fees are to be paid cash or cheque. All notified
holiday discounts/Bank Holidays (7 weeks at 50% for service personnel) will be automatically
deducted from your account.
Children aged 3 months to 3 years
Full Day - £36.00
Half Day - £25.50
Children aged 3 years – 5 years
Full Day £34.50 (£3.45 per hour for funded children)
Half Day £24.50 (£4.90 per hour for funded children)
Please note that from the term following your child’s 3rd birthday you are entitled
to receive funding for up to 15 hours per week during the Hampshire School term.
